"I come out each year for the friendship and fellowship... Jazz is of our culture, and it’s just good to see our people, the Atlanta culture, the family vibes. The food, the music — it’s all just a great experience."

"Live jazz makes me feel different things depending on where I’m at emotionally... Happy? It boosts me. Going through something? It meets me there too. It speaks without words, and sometimes that’s louder than lyrics."

"A nice cabernet, a good cigar if you smoke, and a chill vibe with some incense burning — that’s the setup right there. Throw in a good lunch and you’re golden."
