Bill Allen, Founder of New Black Wall Street, Passes Away | JAM Culture TV

Bill Allen, the founder of the Black-owned and operated market New Black Wall Street in Stonecrest GA, has passed away.  His protégé, Rubin B took to instagram on June 26th to pay tribute to Allen by saying "Rest in Peace to the most humble billionaire I was proud to call my Mentor and my 3rd Grandaddy....Love you Mr. Allen.."

According to reports, Allen was one of the largest black commercial land developers in the United States. He had many other projects that preceded the installation of New Black Wall Street and many more in development. He opened his doors, giving many the opportunity to station and grow their businesses, including director Lucky Johnson who recently began offering acting classes every thursday on site.

Rubin went on to make promise that he would "do everything we talked about in Jesus name". One look at the comments on Rubin's post gives just a glimpse on how much of an impact Mr. Allen had on New Black Wall Street and the community as a whole.  He was 80 years old.
