Lizzo Explains Previous Post Claiming She 'Quit' (Video) | Jean Alon Media

Sometimes, you just need a break! At times, stress can get the best of us. Which is why, it wasn't much of a surprise when we saw the announcement from Lizzo screaming 'I Quit!'


Case in point:


This post led fans and critics alike to believe that Lizzo might be retiring from the music business altogether. However, on April 2nd, 2024, Lizzo took to Instagram to squash the rumors once and for all. In the post shown below, Lizzo says "..when I say quit, I mean giving any negative energy attention. What I'm not gonna quit is...making music." She goes on to say she hopes to be an inspiration to others who battle with negativity and the motivation for them to stand up for themselves and battle negativity in their own lives.

The events began on Friday with a female artist showcase where judges sat and listened to a range of music, including soft r&b all the way to hardcore rap. The following day, the showcase continued and wrapped up with an artist bootcamp.
