Highlights from 'ATL Got Talent' with MusicMondaysATL at Apache XLR in Atlanta Georgia on March 5th 2024

A photo of Amier taken by Jean Alon Media Productions

Jean Alon Media Productions attended its first event with ATL Got Talent organized by ATL Artist Connect and hosted by Amier. We initially connected with Amier at the live taping of the Live with Carisha Show feat Donell Jones. That show, which was also hosted by Amier, has a huge following and regularly recruits rising musicians and mega successful recording artists in the music industry, amongst others.

Its been a busy quarter for us as we've attended our 3rd showcase in less than a two week span. This one just might be our favorite. The showcase, which also features rising artists and talent from all over the country, contained some serious up and coming talent to be on the lookout for. The celebrity judge panel consisted of two influential names on the Atlanta music scene, Mykel T Brooks and Carisha the Diva. Mykel T Brooks is an Atlanta producer, singer, and engineer as well as CEO of Paperwork Music Group, which he discusses in his interview with Voyage ATL. Carisha The Diva is a celebrity talk show host and journalist also native to Atlanta Georgia.

While we've enjoyed all of the showcases we've visited so far this year, the vibe at this one was different. Maybe it was the atmosphere inside of Apache XLR coupled with the familiar journey into the downtown area or the vibes from the DJ playing familiar hip hop tracks from the North, something we've missed since relocating from Buffalo, NY. If nothing else, it was the talent, some of which we've seen before - but none of which compared to the young lady Morgan Lett who blew the house down with her powerful vocal performance.  We'll be posting a snippet from her performance later.

And so, they inspire me…my children, my grandchildren - knowing that I'm building a legacy for them to go up under, that is what inspires me the most. Are there any members of your family that do what you do as well? No! It's funny because I always wanted to have this famil...
