Macon's Annual Pan African Diaspora Festival (2023)


 


The Tubman African Diaspora Festival is an annual celebration of African culture and heritage. Founded in 1996 by artist and community leader Chi Ezekwueche, the festival is one of the Tubman Museum’s signature events.
The festival features a variety of performances, including music, dance, food, film, art, and spoken word. It is a chance to learn about the dynamic and diverse cultures created from the African Diaspora. The festival is open to all and is formed around the principles of Love, Peace, Unity, and Hope.
